Wait and See:
funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG)
This
project focuses on mechanisms involved in learning the application
of the emotion regulation strategy 'distraction' in frustrating
situations in toddlers.
Can they learn through imitation?
Who is a salient model?
In what way can picture books support their emotion regulation strategies?
What role does temperament play?
These questions are researched with 22- to 36- months old toddlers.
