The importance of positive and
consistent parenting for children during stressful times cannot be
overstated. Despite the stress, parents should try to remain calm and meet
their children's needs. It is advisable to maintain everyday routines such
as mealtimes, playtimes, and bedtimes as much as possible. Additionally,
parents should limit their children’s screen time and encourage children to
do schoolwork, such as reading, writing, drawing, and mathematics, even if
they cannot attend school currently.
