Experimental Psychopathology

Dr. Mar Russ-Calafel, Dr. Kathrin Schopf

Our research focuses on understanding processes and mechanisms underlying psychopathological developments among children, adolescents and adults in order to identify new treatment approaches and to increase the effectiveness of existing treatments. Our methods include application of self-report questionnaires, clinical diagnostics, and laboratory paradigms such as computer tasks, eye-tracking, and physiological measures (e.g., heart rate, cortisol, skin conductance, startle respone).
